Internal Mobility Program for HHAs: How the Process Works
Thank you for your interest in the Internal Mobility Program for HHAs. Here are the step-by-step details for what to expect and how the process works.
- Home Health Aide (HHA) is interested in career development at VNS Health.
- The HHA Supervisor or Manager connects HHA with Internal Mobility Program Coordinator.
- Program Coordinator reviews Internal Mobility process with the HHA.
- Program Coordinator prepares the HHA for job interview process.
- HHA applies to an open role on the VNS Health job website.
- If HHA meets many of the requirements for the role, they will be contacted by a recruiter. If HHA does not make it to this point, the Program Coordinator will provide feedback to HHA on how to improve their chances of hire in the future.
- Recruiter assesses HHA on screening phone call and determines whether HHA moves on to the next round of interviews. If HHA is not selected to move to next step, the Program Coordinator will provide feedback on how to improve their chances of hire in the future.
- HHA moves on to next round of interviews.
- A job offer is or is not extended to the HHA. If the offer is accepted, employee moves onto the preboarding process. If an offer is not extended, the Program Coordinator will provide feedback to HHA on how to improve their chances of hire in the future.
- Employee starts new role and begins onboarding process to begin new job. Program Coordinator will check in with employee at the 30, 60, and 90-day mark to ensure employee is adjusting well to their new role and to see if any additional support needs to be provided.
