Are You a Trained Health Coach Who is Comfortable Using a Computer? We Have Health Coaching Opportunities Available for You!

There are currently several opportunities available for trained Health Coaches within the Health Coach Encounter Program and Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NORC) Program. These opportunities pay a $19.00 hourly rate, offer flexible schedules, and provide additional training.

Here Are Some Details About the Two Programs We Offer:

  1. Health Coach Encounter Program
  • The Health Coach Encounter Program runs for four weeks:
    • Week 1: Health Coach completes one in-person visit for up to 2 hours.
    • Weeks 2 – 4: Health Coach completes one weekly telephone conversation with the client for up to 1 hour.
  • These encounters can also include accompanying clients to medical appointments. The hours are varying and dependent on the needs of the client.
  • Following each encounter with your client, Health Coaches are required to complete 1 – 2 pages of documentation about the encounter.
  • The Health Coach does not provide hands-on care to clients.

2. Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NORC) Program

In the NORC Program, the Health Coach works in collaboration with the Site Nurse, Social Worker, and other members of an interdisciplinary team to identify clients who can benefit from the support of the Health Coach.

  • In the NORC Program, the Health Coach works at least one full day (7 hours) each week, on a continuous schedule.
    • Depending on the site, the Health Coach may work more than 7 hours each week.
    • The Health Coach must work the same day of the week, each week. This day must be Monday through Friday only and must be during normal business hours.
  • The Health Coach must be comfortable using a computer and working in a team setting.
  • The Health Coach may have to make home visits to clients.
