On-Call Aides Needed – $22.00 Per Hour, with 40 Hours Per Week Guaranteed!

We are excited to announce job opportunities for the position of an On-Call Aide. This is a fantastic opportunity for an agile, dedicated VNS Health Home Health Aide to take on a new role in our organization.
Positions are currently needed in all five boroughs of New York City—Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, and Queens. Please review the job qualifications and how to apply below.
- Position: On-Call Aide
- Location(s): All NYC boroughs: the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, and Queens
- Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour, plus medical/dental benefits.
- Hours: 40 hours per week, guaranteed
- Availability: Must be available: Monday – Friday, 12:00 noon – 8:00 p.m. and every other weekend.
- Additional information: Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to VNS Health Personal Care team members and clients in day-to-day operations.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with HHA Supervisors to ensure efficient service delivery.
Job Requirements:
- Able to use public transportation: Applicants must know how to commute within different boroughs using public transportation.
- Willingness to work long hour cases and multiple short-hour cases: This job guarantees 40 hours per week, however, you can decide which days you want to work.
- Geographic Availability: Ability to work throughout the boroughs:
- Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, and Queens
Qualifications:
- HHA Certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
