Exciting Employment Opportunity: Staff Aides Needed in Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island, With 40 Hours Per Week Guaranteed!

We are excited to announce job opportunities for the position of Staff Aide in the boroughs of Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island, New York. We are looking to fill two Staff Aide positions in each borough, for a total of six (6) Staff Aides that are needed.   • Position: Staff Aide
  • Location(s): Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island, New York
  • Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour, plus medical/dental benefits
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, guaranteed
  • Availability: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to VNS Health Personal Care team members and clients in day-to-day operations
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Collaborate with HHA Supervisors to ensure efficient service delivery

Job Requirements:

  1. Valid Driver’s License: Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license
  2. Own a Car: A reliable personal vehicle is required for transportation (reimbursements for mileage are provided)
  3. Willingness to Work Multiple Short-Hour Cases: This job guarantees 40 hours per week, however, hours worked will be distributed onto multiple short-hour cases, so having a flexible mindset is required
  4. Geographic Availability: Ability to work in the neighborhoods of:
    – Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Red Hook, Stuyvesant Heights, Sunset Park, and Williamsburg of Brooklyn, NY
    – Bayside, College Point, and Whitestone of Queens, NY
    – Bulls Head, Great Kills, and Rossville of Staten Island, NY

Qualifications:

  • HHA Certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
