Gifts of Gratitude Program

Dear Team,

Some patients, clients and/or their family members may want to show their appreciation for your work by giving you a gift. However, the VNS Health Code of Conduct does not allow any employee to receive or accept or exchange gifts, cash, favors, or anything else that has monetary value from patients or their families/caregivers. (You can read the Code of Conduct, beginning on page 31, here.)

If your patient or their family/caregiver would like to show their appreciation for all that you do, one great way to do this is through the Gifts of Gratitude program.

The Gifts of Gratitude program recognizes gifts made in honor of the talents and compassion of our frontline team members, like you! Both you and the person making the donation are acknowledged for any gift of gratitude made to the program. All gifts support the VNS Health Charitable Care and community outreach programs. How Your Patients and Families/Caregivers Can Donate:

• The best way to tell others how to make a donation is to go to our website and click on the “Donate” tab to complete the online form and pay by credit card. www.vnshealth.org (https://vnshealth.salsalabs.org/donationpage/index.html)
  
• If they would like to write a check, please ask for the check to be made payable to VNS Health with “donation” written in the memo field, along with the name of the VNS Health team member being honored. They should send the check to:
