Happy Labor Day Weekend!

Dear Colleagues,
As August draws to a close, I’d like to wish everyone a very happy Labor Day weekend. I hope you all had a good chance to relax and recharge your batteries this summer.
Labor Day, which originated in the late 19th century, honors the American labor movement and the contributions of workers. The first Labor Day parade was held in New York City on September 5, 1882. Twelve years later, in 1894, a bill recognizing Labor Day as a national holiday was signed into law by President Grover Cleveland.
On this holiday celebrating our nation’s workforce, I want to add my own thanks to our amazing team members here at VNS Health for all you do, each and every day.
I look forward to working together this fall as we continue to advance our mission and grow our organization. We have a busy and exciting few months in front of us, including putting our refreshed Strategic Plan into action. We’ll also be holding our second company-wide Annual Awards Ceremony in October, which I’m delighted to say is going to feature a number of new awards.
Happy Labor Day, everyone!
