How to Clock Out When There is No Plan of Care for Your Client in the HHAeXchange App

If you are trying to clock out from a visit, but no Plan of Care is shown for your client, you must follow these steps to successfully clock out.

Please refer to the paper version of the Plan of Care that is in your client’s home when clocking out.

  1. Go to the “Other Tasks” section that is further below the “Plan of Care Tasks” section in the HHAx app.
  2. Use the checkmark to select only the Plan of Care tasks you performed that day that are listed on the paper version of the Plan of Care in your client’s home. Be sure to use the X to mark any tasks that the client refused that are listed on the paper version of the Plan of Care and select the reason why the task was refused.
  3. Then click ‘Save’.
  4. Then click ‘OK’ when the box pops up that says you have successfully clocked out.
  5. After you have clocked out of the visit, it is important to contact your supervisor to let them know that no Plan of Care is loaded for your client.

Remember: It is best to avoid using task code sheets, if possible, as this can delay the timely payment of your paycheck.
