Important Information About One-Time Bonus and VNS Health Rewards Tax

Dear Team,
We are pleased to inform you that a one-time bonus will be paid to any Home Health Aide team members who worked with VNS Health between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022. If you worked during this time, the amount of the one-time bonus will be determined by the number of hours you worked during 2022. You will receive this one-time bonus by Friday, June 23, 2023.
This one-time bonus is not a new bonus program but is the remaining balance from the COVID-19 Recognition bonus that we received from 1199SEIU. Therefore, the eligibility requirements are the same – you must have worked for VNS Health at some point between January and December of 2022, and you must currently now be working for VNS Health. Please note that we can no longer provide any further payments for the COVID-19 Recognition bonus, as the final installment was officially paid in full in December 2022 to all eligible HHA team members.
I also want to remind everyone – even those who aren’t eligible for the COVID-19 Recognition bonus – about the available VNS Health Rewards bonuses that you can earn:
- Currently, you can earn rewards each time you successfully complete a client visit, including clocking in and out, using the HHAeXchange mobile app.
- Our newest VNS Health Rewards bonus allows you to earn rewards for making an HHA referral.
It is important to know that we will need to begin deducting taxes from VNS Health Rewards, just like your normal paycheck. So, effective June 15th, 2023, you will begin to see tax deductions for rewards earned from VNS Health Rewards. The total rewards will appear on your pay stub under DEDUCTIONS – however, they are not actually deducted, only the taxable portion has been deducted.
