Important Message on Immigration Matters

February 6, 2025
Dear Colleagues,
As a follow-up to the email CEO Dan Savitt sent out on January 31 about the government transition, we’d like to once again say that we’re very much committed to each of you.
In light of the recent immigration-related government actions, foreign nationals should strongly consider carrying their visa status documents – such as a green card, Employment Authorization Document (EAD) card, Form I-94, Form I-797, or Form I-20 – with them at all times. In addition, foreign nationals are required to report a change of home address within 10 days of the address change.
You may have people in your life who are undocumented. Please know that if a person is approached by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent, that person has certain legal rights. Here, below, are links to a “Know Your Rights” flyer that offers guidance in English, Spanish and Chinese.
You are the heart of VNS Health, and we recognize that the changes we’ve been seeing and reading about may be impacting some of you personally. We are committed to supporting your well-being and continued professional growth. This includes maintaining open communication and offering resources such as the Member Assistance Program (for 1199 team members) or the Employee Assistance Program (for non-1199 team members) to support you.
Thank you for the dedication and compassion you bring to those we serve and to one another every day. You make a profound difference in the lives of so many, and I am deeply grateful to have you as part of the VNS Health family.
Best,
Jim
