Leadership Update
October 14, 2026

Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce that Tom Cocozza has been named Senior Vice President, Personal Care, following his service as interim leader for the Personal Care team.
Tom brings more than 20 years of experience with VNS Health and a deep understanding of our Personal Care organization, its people, and the communities we serve. Throughout his career, he has earned the trust and respect of colleagues across the organization through his collaborative leadership style, sound judgment, and commitment to our mission.
Since joining VNS Health in 2005, Tom has held progressively responsible roles across Personal Care, most recently serving as Vice President of Operations. He has played an important role in expanding our reach and capabilities, including leading key acquisitions, establishing our partnership with the NYC Department for the Aging, and advancing technology and operational improvements across the organization. His experience reflects not only deep operational expertise, but also a strong ability to lead change and build partnerships.
Equally important, Tom is a thoughtful and trusted leader who cares deeply about our team members and the people we serve. He understands the critical role our home health aides play in the lives of patients and members, and the importance of building a culture where our teams feel valued, supported, and connected to our mission.
As SVP, Tom will lead Personal Care’s continued evolution, with a focus on growth, strengthening our workforce and culture, advancing opportunities for greater integration across One VNS Health, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our services.
On a personal note, Tom is a lifelong New Yorker who lives on Staten Island with his wife and two sons. An avid reader and die-hard Mets fan, he also co-hosts the “Shelf-To-Screen” Podcast, exploring books and their film and television adaptations.
Please join me in congratulating Tom on this well-deserved appointment. I am excited about the leadership he will bring to this role and confident in his ability to build on Personal Care’s strong foundation while leading the business into its next chapter of growth and innovation.
