New Bonus Program Available for Using the HHAx Mobile App

Dear VNS Health Personal Care Team Members,
I am pleased to announce another bonus program that is now available to you!
It is one more way to show our deep appreciation for your commitment to your patients and for choosing to work with VNS Health. We value each one of our Home Health Aides, and that is why we are committed to offering compensation packages that are worth over $20 per hour in value for those HHAs who take advantage of our full range of benefits. In addition, we are continuously looking for opportunities to provide bonuses to add even more to what you can earn!
Here is our latest bonus program:
From now through the end of the year, we will offer $75 to all Home Health Aides who successfully clock in and out of your visits using the HHAx Mobile app.
To receive the bonus:
Make sure that you are using the HHAx mobile app to clock in and out of your visits. If you don’t have the app yet, you can download it by clicking one of these links:
Then, each time you visit a patient, use the HHAx app to clock in and out. From October thru December, you need to:
- Complete 20 visits or more
- Successfully clock in and out using the mobile app for at least 75% of your total visits completed
Already using HHAx to clock in and out of your patient visits? Good news! You’ll be receiving an extra bonus for using HHAx earlier this year, too!
- If you used HHAx to clock in and out of your visits from April thru June and met the requirements listed above, you’ll be receiving a $75 bonus!
- If you used HHAx to clock in and out of your visits from July thru September and met the requirements listed above, you’ll also be receiving a $75 bonus!
Clearly, it pays to use the HHAx app! So if you’re not using it, please start! And if you’re already using it, please continue to do so!
And Don’t Forget About the Other Three Bonus Programs That Are Still Available to You!
- COVID-19 Recognition Bonus: If you actively worked as a Home Health Aide with VNS Health Personal Care between March 1, 2020, and December 31, 2021, and are still actively working, you will receive a COVID-19 recognition bonus check paid out in three installments (the last check will be paid in December.) To date, we have already paid out over $2.8 million in COVID-19 recognition bonuses! Remember that you must be actively working on the payout date to receive the award!
- “The More You Work; the More You Earn” Bonus: You will earn an additional 50 cents in bonus dollars for every hour you worked during the prior three-month time period. This means that the more you work, the more you earn in bonus dollars. Talk to your supervisor about what work is available. VNS Health has already paid out over $1 million to HHAs through this bonus program! You must be actively working at the time of payout to receive the bonus.
- Short-Hour Incentive Bonus: You will receive $250.00 for every 6 VNS Health CHHA or Hospice short hour cases that you accept and complete. A short hour case is one that lasts 2 hours or less per day. This applies to new cases that are VNS Health CHHA or HOSPICE cases only. It does not apply to health plan cases or temporary fill in assignments. A more detailed explanation can be obtained from the office as there are terms and conditions that apply. VNS Health Home Health Aides have already received nearly $29,000 through the short-hour incentive bonus program!
As a reminder, all of these programs will be in effect until the funding is no longer available!
