September is Emergency Preparedness Month! Be Sure Your Contact Information Is Up to Date!

Dear Colleagues,

It’s September – Emergency Preparedness Month. It’s that time of year when we all should take a moment to think about our individual needs related to being prepared for an emergency. With that in mind, we’ve developed this flyer that will help provide some guidance on how you can be prepared for an emergency, including how to look up your evacuation zone and checklists for a “Go Bag” and an household emergency kit

One VERY IMPORTANT thing you can do right now is to review your emergency contact information with your supervisor!  Be sure your supervisor has your current mobile phone number and email address. If this information changes, be sure to let your supervisor know. We want to be able to contact you when emergencies or important incidents or events occur, so it is important that we have your correct and most up-to-date contact information on hand.

Thank you,

The VNS Health Emergency Response Team
