Updated Employee Referral Reward Program and Introducing a New Sign-On Bonus

Dear Team,

As part of our continued effort to recognize and reward you, while also ensuring that we provide the care people need across all parts of the New York metropolitan area, as well as grow our VNS Health team – we have made some changes to our Employee Referral Reward program and also added a new sign-on bonus for new HHAs in special markets!

If you are a VNS Health Home Health Aide team member and you share a VNS Health HHA job with someone you know, you can earn:

Up to $250 (25,000 points) if that person ends up working consistently at VNS Health in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, or Queens.
Up to $500 (50,000 points) if that person ends up working consistently at VNS Health in Long Island, Staten Island, or Westchester County, or is a Chinese-speaking HHA.

We are also introducing a new Sign-On Bonus for new HHAs hired in Long Island, Westchester, and Staten Island, and for Chinese-speaking HHAs.

These changes were effective, beginning on Saturday, November 1st on VNS Health Rewards.

Here are the updated details for how to make an employee referral and receive a bonus:

Note: To receive a Referral Bonus, you must follow the instructions below. If you do not follow these instructions, you will not receive a bonus.

Here’s how to make a referral:

Step 1: Go to VNS Health Rewards: https://rewards.caribou.care/jobs

Step 2: Click ‘Share Job’ on a job posting

Step 3: Send the job to qualified friends, family, or anyone you know that might be a good fit!

Once the person you referred completes an online application, you’ll be rewarded with 100 points, or $1.00. You’ll continue to earn cash rewards as the person that you referred moves along in the hiring process of becoming a full-fledged VNS Health employee.

Here’s how many points you’ll earn and what you will receive with each step of the updated referral process for HHA referrals made for the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, or Queens:

Job Share: 1 raffle draw ticket (limit of 5 per month)
Friend Applies: 100 points ($1)
Completed Orientation: 500 points ($5)
Completed First Shift: 1,500 points ($15)
100 Hours Worked: 10,000 points ($100)
300 Hours Worked: 12,900 points ($129)
TOTAL: 25,000 ($250)

Here’s how many points you’ll earn and what you will receive with each step of the updated employee referral process for HHA referrals made for Long Island, Staten Island, or Westchester County, or is a Chinese-speaking HHA:

Completed First Shift: 5,700 points ($57)
50 Hours Worked: 20,200 points ($202)
200 Hours Worked: 22,500 points ($225)
TOTAL: 50,000 ($500)

New Sign-On Bonus for Special Markets

A new sign-on bonus is also being introduced for Long Island, Westchester, Staten Island, and for Chinese-speaking HHAs:

Each new hire will receive:

$100 after completing 100 hours of work
$150 after completing 200 hours of work
Total sign-on bonus: $250
