Food Assistance

Feeding Westchester maintains a resource finder for food and housing support and a mobile pantry schedule.​​​​​​​

Family Support

Know your eligibility of receiving family assistance through the Westchester County Family Assistance website which can be found at https://socialservices.westchestergov.com/family-assistance. Some families may be eligible to get benefits for up to 60 months.

Childcare

For information about childcare providers and to see if you qualify for financial assistance, found out more information on the Child Care Council of Westchester website: https://www.childcarewestchester.org/covid-19/for-parents.

You can also relieve your stress with a Child Care scholarship if you’re a first responder and essential worker living in Westchester on the Child Care Council of Westchester website: https://www.childcarewestchester.org/about/news/item/200-child-care-scholarships-for-first-responders-and-essential-workers?fbclid=IwAR3_eK84bgJB98ENKUBoOFWgP6uBqp6sBD-FuXKjvPkMe3y3at4xNJUARBI. Applications will be reviewed within 3 days.

Housing

Find resources about Temporary Housing on Westchester’s Homeless Service resources page at: https://socialservices.westchestergov.com/homeless-services. Here you can get information about shelter facilities, transitional residences and emergency apartments.

Get information about equal, affordable & accessible housing opportunities for all Westchester residents on the WRO website available at https://wroinc.org. You can also get answers regarding the federal eviction moratorium under this special time.

Mental Health/Health Care

Get assistance with your medical expenses through the Westchester County Medical Assistance website available at https://socialservices.westchestergov.com/medical-assistance. Here you can get resources, such as eligibility, service area and program options.

St. Vincent’s Hospital – Westchester also offers these resources to help with managing stress and anxiety:
