Reminder: If an incident occurred or if you feel unsafe while you’re working with clients, please let us know. Your safety is very important to us. If an incident occurred or if there is a situation in which you feel unsafe while you are working in the client’s home, please fill out the incident report form below as soon as possible. You should also fill out this form if you are hurt or injured while working with your client. Click here for more information.

All changes in your client’s condition must be reported immediately to your VNS Health Personal Care supervisor: Also remember that even if a client may be in need of emergency services, the client has the right to refuse medical care when EMS workers arrive. Since the common cold and allergies can have many of the same symptoms, it may be hard to tell them apart. While each can cause sneezing, coughing, and runny nose, there are also some symptoms that can help tell them apart. For example, a cold is more likely to cause a sore throat, and allergies are more likely to cause itchy, watery eyes.
