Important reminder when you’re clocking in and out of your client visits: As required by federal law under the electronic visit verification (EVV) program, you are required to clock in and out of your client visits, which can be done in only two acceptable ways: by using the HHAx app or by dialing in using your client’s phone. Click here for what you need to know.

Remember to complete your in-service courses BEFORE the end of the year! If you have not yet completed your in-service courses, it is important that you complete them by Wednesday, December 31. In total, you must have completed 16 courses this year. These courses are required by New York State to maintain your certification and to continue working on your current client assignments. Thank you for completing your courses now!

No HHA Support Call this week or next week. The next call is Thursday, January 8 at 1:00 p.m. –with special guest, Roxanne Watson, HR Specialist. For more information, click here.

Schedule some “me” time: Do something that makes you feel good. It could be reading a book, watching a movie, listening to some music or just taking a nice walk. For more ideas for things you can do for some “me” time, click here for ways that VNS Health HHAs said they like to spend their spare time.
