Supervisor Josephine Heckstall sends a big shout out to Home Health Aide team member Lena Reid for her actions during February’s blizzard. The client wrote in to say: “Recognizing that we may be in a vulnerable and potentially dangerous situation, Lena made the selfless decision to remain overnight. In my experience, it is rare—almost unheard of—to encounter someone so deeply committed to the well-being of those in their care. Lena’s actions went far beyond her professional obligations and provided us with immense peace of mind during a frightening and historic storm.” Thank you, Lena, for your empathy and dedication to your client!

The best way to take care of others is to take care of yourself, too!
