Update on Bonus Programs and Additional Work Available to You

Dear Team,

I am excited to announce that the third and final installment of the COVID-19 Recognition Bonus has been paid out. If you worked with VNS Health between March 1, 2020, and December 31, 2021, and were still actively working on December 12, 2022, you should have received a bonus. In total, VNS Health Home Health Aides have received over $4 million in COVID-19 Recognition Bonuses!

While the COVID-19 Recognition Bonus is coming to an end, I want to remind you about our other bonus programs.

  • HHAx Mobile App Bonus: If you have been successfully clocking in and out your visits using the HHAx mobile app since October and continue to do so until the end of this month, you will receive a $75 bonus. (You’ll need to have completed 20 visits or more, and successfully clocked in and out using the mobile app for at least 75% of your total visits completed.) To date, VNS Health has paid out $53,000 to HHAs for using the HHAx Mobile App.
  • “The More You Work; the More You Earn” Bonus: You will earn an additional 50 cents in bonus dollars for every hour you worked during the last three-month time period. This means that the more you work, the more you earn in bonus dollars. Talk to your supervisor about what work is available. VNS Health has already paid out over $1 million to HHAs through this bonus program! You must be actively working at the time of payout to receive the bonus.
  • Short-Hour Incentive Bonus: You will receive $250 for every 6 VNS Health Home Care (CHHA) or Hospice short hour cases that you accept and complete. A short hour case is one that lasts 2 hours or less per day. This applies to new cases that are VNS Health Home Care (CHHA) or Hospice cases only. It does not apply to health plan cases or temporary fill in assignments. You can get a more detailed explanation when you’re in the office as there are terms and conditions that apply. VNS Health Home Health Aides have already received nearly $82,000 through the short-hour incentive bonus program!

And Don’t Forget This Opportunity to Work More Hours in Brooklyn!

We also have a new contract starting in January that will give you the opportunity to work more hours with VNS Health. The new contract is for cases located in Brooklyn.  We have cases available throughout the borough. 

Cases will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. Reach out as soon as possible to see if there are cases close to your home.

Our current retention bonus still applies, so the more hours you work, the bigger your next bonus!
