Did you know that trips and falls are the most common kinds of accidents in the home? They can also be very dangerous for older adults. So, before you leave your client’s home, be sure to check for potential dangers that might cause a fall:

– Make sure that floors are clear of clutter throughout the rooms in your client’s home.

– Make sure that frequently used items are within reach for your client.

– Make sure that any ambulatory devices your client uses are accessible.
