1199’s Wellness Member Assistance Program (MAP)
The Member Assistance Program (MAP) is available to members of the 1199SEIU Benefit Funds and their eligible dependents. Our social workers can help put you back on the right path by assisting you in finding counseling or referrals to programs. Life is full of stresses: Whether you’re dealing with the loss of a job, marital problems or a family member’s illness, our staff can help.
Services include:
- Counseling/Therapy
- Mental Health Issues
- Other Social Services from the community
- Referrals to entitlement programs
- Domestic or workplace violence
- Bereavement counseling and other life changes
- Job jeopardy (early intervention before job loss)
- Prenatal resources
- Telehealth
- Citizenship resources
- Tax preparation assistance
- Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse
- Inpatient Behavioral or Alcohol/Substance Abuse Treatment
- Health, Mind and Body Workshops
