Your News This Week—Week of August 31, 2026

Don’t miss the latest issue of Your News This Week. Published weekly, this newsletter is dedicated to our Home Health Aide team and includes what you need to know each week.

Important! Delete the CareConnect app from your phone immediately! VNS Health no longer uses the CareConnect app for new shifts and has been discontinued. To book any shift, you must use the VNS Health Rewards (Caribou) platform. If you have not done so already, please complete your profile for shift booking within the VNS Health Rewards platform. For more information, click here.
Attention all Android phone users: If you have not done so already, please update your HHAx+ app! The update is required to fix an application error, causing incorrect client addresses to appear. Please update your HHAx+ app to version 26.08.01 from the Google Play Store as soon as possible. For instructions on how to update the app, click here.
Last chance! Enter this month’s raffle for a chance to win $100! For August’s “Question of the Month,” tell us, “If you could give one important piece of advice to a new Home Health Aide, what would you say?” Please submit your response no later than Monday, August 31st. To answer our question, click here.
No HHA Support Call this week! Our next call is on Thursday, September 10th at 1:00 p.m. – with special guest, Kelly Harned, VP of Administration for Personal Care. Hope you can make it! For more information, click here.

Congratulations to the VNS Health Rewards Honor Roll and Momentum Awardees for July! We’re excited to celebrate all the caregivers who have made great progress in improving their clock-in and out compliance using the HHAeXchange mobile app! Your consistency and dedication help keep everything running smoothly, and we see your efforts! Click here to see who made the Honor Roll and click here to see the Momentum Awardees.

Remember to take some time to care for yourself! Here’s one way to do this:

Eat a balanced diet: Unprocessed foods, like whole grains, vegetables, lean meats and fresh fruit are the foundation for a healthy mind and body. Eating well can also help stabilize your mood. Including brain-boosting healthy fats can help you go the distance.
